What to expect

Delve into the amazing past of Florence with this insightful walking tour. Discover the fascinating legacy of the Medici, the powerful family who ruled the city for many centuries and paved the way to the humanist culture and Florence Renaissance.

You will be amazed at every step while passing by monuments and churches. Among the points of interest, we will stop by:

  • Piazza del Duomo, where you will find out the history behind the spectacular façade of Florence Cathedral, Saint Mary of the Flower; an impressive architecture whose famous dome was designed by Brunelleschi and whose free-standing campanile by Giotto.
  • Piazza della Signoria, a monumental square which hosts a famous copy of Michelangelo’s David statue and includes the iconic Palazzo Vecchio dating back to the 14th-century.
  • Ponte Vecchio with its memorable view of the river and its quaint shops and jewelleries.

After an hour and a half, we will end the guided tour at Piazza della Signoria. See you soon!
