What to expect

Start your Vatican tour early in the morning and enjoy your visit without all the hubbub going on.

You will meet your guide near the main entrance of the Vatican museums and thanks to your early-visit-ticket you can follow your guide’s explanation and storytelling without too many tourists around.

Before entering the museums, you will be instructed about the marvellous frescos painted on the Sistine Chapel ceiling as you are not allowed to speak inside the chapel.

Without having to queue, you will be guided inside the Vatican Museums heading toward the Sistine Chapel. Here you will be amazed at the marvellous frescos such as The Creation of Adam and The Last Judgment by Michelangelo, The Temptation of Christ by Sandro Botticelli and Last Supper by Cosimo Rosselli.

Soon after, you will access St Peter’s Basilica passing through the Royal Staircase designed by Bernini. Once inside the Basilica, the famous Madonna della Pietà is one of the wonderful sculptures by Michelangelo you will be most impressed with.
