The tour was educational, very interesting, and sometimes humorous. Best of all, the tour connected me to history and my faith. The tour guide was clear with directions for the tour, very will prepared, and was happy to answer all questions. The two and a half hours were time well spent, and offered great value. Skipping the line with a knowledgeable tour guide is the way to go. The tour guide did a great job navigating the museum with us on a very busy day. Highly recommended!

La visita muy buena, la guía Elena increíble, se ha explicado muy bien, se ve que sabe muchísimo de lo que habla y ha estado muy atenta. ¡Visita y guía maravillosa! No pongo el Excelente porque la organización del touroperador dejó un poco que desear, cuando llegamos al punto de encuentro no había nadie, estábamos todos los grupos de visitantes de todos los idiomas y de ellos no estaban. Fue un poco estresante al principio otros tour operadores lo tenian ya todo organizado Sentimos si algún aspecto de la organización pudo haberse llevado mejor. Agradecemos y tomamos nota de los comentarios para seguir mejorando, también en este aspecto.

If you need last minute tickets for the Vatican , this is a good option, but at a huge markup. We went very early, at 7:45, but had to wait until 8 for the Vatican Museum to open. Everyone recommended to go early, but I’m skeptical if it would have been better to wait until later in the afternoon, it was crowded, and it didn’t matter that our tour was small, as you are surrounded by many other tour groups, and it was difficult to hear our guide clearly,

All visitors must pass through airport-style security checks. During peak season, waiting times at security can be up to 30 minutes.
Access to the tour monuments is not permitted with large backpacks or bulky umbrellas. Please bring a small backpack or bag.
Children up to 5 years old enter for free, but must be added to the booking.
Please note that the Holy See may close the Sistine Chapel without prior notice. In such cases, more time will be dedicated to other parts of the visit during the tour.
In accordance with the Vatican Museums' regulations, the guide will explain the Sistine Chapel at the beginning of the tour, as talking is prohibited inside.

No. The internal passage connecting the Sistine Chapel to the Basilica is reserved for groups whose tour includes entry to the Basilica. On this tour you will exit through the main exit of the Vatican Museums and can visit the Basilica independently from St Peter's Square, passing through security. If you want to go straight through from the Museums, choose the tour that includes St Peter's Basilica.
